Gary Kurotori
Gary joined BoaVida as its Chief Financial Officer with ultimate responsibility for all accounting, finance, administration, human resources and more.
Gary brings nearly three decades of senior corporate finance, accounting, and strategy experience. Gary started his career in Clorox’s Finance and Accounting Development Program and led finance for Canada and half of Latin America. During his 18 years at Clorox, he was the finance leader for many of its business units, acquired $1B Burts Bees, integrated the Glad acquisition, and contributed to many of its successful product launches such as Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. After Clorox, Gary led AAA’s Enterprise Finance, Strategy, Project Management and Business Development. As a AAA VP, Gary was selected to lead a transformational program and acquisition effort that resulted in expanding insurance services coast to coast. In the last decade, Gary was CFO/US Region CFO for two top entrepreneur-led residential real estate businesses, Pacific Union & Compass. During this period, the business grew 4X, executed a NYSE IPO and became a Fortune 500 company.
Gary has again returned to his entrepreneurial roots (at BoaVida) where he thrives on driving profitable growth. BoaVida’s President & Founder recruited Gary to position the BoaVida group of companies for exponential growth through best practices and to fine-tune its processes and systems.
Outside of BoaVida, Gary enjoys US travel, live entertainment events/concerts and all things personal finance. On weekends, he will be with friends and family behind the wheel of one of his many Tesla sedans or catching a plane. Over his career he has accumulated over 4M air and hotel points!
